As usual, no trades are projected. Be sure to check out Walter Football for more mock drafts.
1. Arizona Cardinals – Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma
Murray’s draft journey has been really unique and fun to follow. Fully expected to be the pick for Arizona, this offense will be one to watch.
2. San Francisco – Nick Bosa, EDGE, Ohio State
3. New York Jets – Josh Allen, EDGE, Kentucky
4. Oakland Raiders – Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Ed Oliver, DT, Houston
Ed Oliver arriving in Tampa as Gerald McCoy’s time there is potentially coming to a close seems almost too good a fit.
6. New York Giants – Montez Sweat, EDGE, Mississippi State
7. Jacksonville Jaguars – Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State
8. Detroit Lions – Rashan Gary, EDGE, Michigan
With a multiple scheme on defense and solid players up front in Flowers, Snacks, and Hand, Detroit would be a great fit for Gary. He would see more one-on-one matchups than he has in his life.
9. Buffalo Bills – Jawaan Taylor, OT, Florida
10. Denver Broncos – Drew Lock, QB Missouri
11. Cincinnati Bengals – Devin Bush, LB, Michigan
Known by many of the Michigan faithful as the “doom squirrel,” Bush will add sorely-needed speed and playmaking ability to the Bengals’ linebacking group.
12. Green Bay Packers – Andre Dillard, OT, Washington State
13. Miami Dolphins – Jonah Williams, OL, Alabama
14. Atlanta Falcons – Brian Burns, EDGE, Florida State
15. Washington – T.J. Hockenson, TE, Iowa
Jordan Reed accounts for over 5% of Washington’s cap this year, and as a post-June 1 cut would save $7.8M with only $1.8M in dead money. The opportunity to take an elite and rounded tight end like Hockenson would allow Washington to move on from the talented but injury-prone Reed.
16. Carolina Panthers – Clelin Ferrell, EDGE, Clemson
17. New York Giants – Devin White, LB, LSU
18. Minnesota Vikings – Garrett Bradbury, C, NC State
19. Tennessee Titans – Byron Murphy, DB, Washington
20. Pittsburgh Steelers – Christian Wilkins, DL, Clemson
21. Seattle Seahawks – Cody Ford, OL, Oklahoma
22. Baltimore Ravens – Hakeem Butler, WR, Iowa State
It was awesome watching Lamar Jackson and the offense being built around him late last season. But, for the next state of evolution to be possible, this offense is going to need a downfield threat with a large catch radius.
23. Houston Texans – Greedy Williams, DB, LSU
24. Oakland Raiders – Noah Fant, TE, Iowa
25. Philadelphia Eagles – Lonnie Johnson, DB, Kentucky
26. Indianapolis Colts – Parris Campbell, WR, Ohio State
Campbell seems like a perfect fit for the Colts’ scheme and would add another dangerous playmaker to an already strong offense.
27. Oakland Raiders – Rock Ya-Sin, DB, Temple
28. Los Angeles Chargers – Greg Little, OL, Ole Miss
29. Kansas City Chiefs – D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss
After a slight fall, Metcalf ends up in what may be the best possible offense for him. He is an elite field-stretching deep threat, and can play exclusively that role in the Chiefs’ downfield attack.
